Inspection and connection

Al-Thiqah Company is one of the few companies licensed to inspect solar power systems by the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Authority. The company performs these inspections according to the technical standards IEC 62446-1 and IEC TS 62446-3, and we offer the following services:

Visual inspection of the following system components:

  1. Solar panels and their compliance with international and local standards.
  2. Inverters/converters and their compliance with global and local standards.
  3. The metal structure supporting the system, in terms of its engineering design and compliance with local specifications and codes.
  4. DC cables in terms of design and installation safety.

5- AC cables, in terms of design and safety of installations.

DC (Direct Current) Inspection and Related Matters:

  1. Check the integrity of the grounding and the ground resistance (Ω).
  2. Check the grounding system connection to the frame supporting the panels and inverters.
  3. Insulation testing of DC cables.
  4. Polarity check.
  5. Check the open circuit voltage (Voc).
  6. Short-circuit current (Isc) test

AC Current and Power Quality Testing:

  1. AC cable insulation testing.
  2. Check the inspection and delivery time for inverters.
  3. Power quality testing.
  4. Voltage check.
  5. Check the outgoing current.
  6. Power factor test.
  7. Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) test.
  8. Check the total power and power output.
